About our Dispatch Center
Our dispatch center is staffed 24hrs/day 365 days/year. Our dispatchers are Connecticut State Certified Telecommunicators and National Academy of Emergency Medical Dispatch (NAEMD)certified. When a 911 call is placed in the City of Milford it is routed to our center where it is answered by one of our dispatchers. If the call is Fire or Medical in nature the dispatcher will continue with the caller, if the call is of a police nature, a dispatcher with the Milford Police Department will join the call to speak with you regarding your situation.
